Christ Evangelical-Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Atlantic District of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod. We have been faithfully proclaiming the Word of God and administering the Sacraments in the Moriches/ Mastic/ Manorville areas for over a half-century.
Our congregation gathers for Word and Sacrament Ministry each Saturday Evening at 5:30pm and Sunday mornings at 8am and 11am, and during the summer June through and including Labor Day, one Service at 10am. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated at each service in accordance with the Lutheran Confessions. We utilize the Lutheran Service Book and the English Standard Version of the Bible during worship. We also have a Midweek Matins service each Wednesday (October through May) at 12 Noon. During Advent and Lent we also have Midweek Evening Services on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
We are a liturgical church, but that doesn't mean worship is irrelevant, staid or boring. Quite the contrary- it is fresh, renewed and reinforces the faith in Jesus, held by the Church since the time of the Apostles.
If you are not a member of a congregation and are in the area, we encourage you to visit us, ask questions, speak with the Pastor, and become a member of our Fellowship.
